Innofactor earns Microsoft Silver Project and Portfolio Management competency

The year 2013 kicked off with Innofactor founding a new business area, Project and Portfolio Management (PPM), after a successful acquisition of assets. The new personnel acquired by Innofactor in the deal have already earned a Microsoft Partner Program competency, reflecting their vast amount of expertise. Earning a Silver competency requires a specified number of highly educated personnel with certifications, who have also performed successfully in Microsoft’s own technology and sales exams, and who have a proven track record of working with end customers in qualifying delivery projects.
“We are happy that we nailed the Silver-level competency during our first couple of weeks in the company. This achievement substantiates our already well-established proficiency with Microsoft Project Server”, says Ville Vakkilainen, the business area executive of Project and Portfolio Management at Innofactor. “Our objective is to earn the Gold-level competency during this spring. The year has begun with a bang, and we have already strengthened our ranks with new recruitments.”
Microsoft competencies help partners showcase their expertise and specialization in different Microsoft technologies and solutions. The program was rehashed in late 2012, when some of the competencies were merged. Innofactor currently holds six Gold competencies and one Silver.
