Innofactor Skilli wins in the Education category of the Quality Innovation of the Year competition

Innofactor Skilli learning analysis tool won the Quality Innovation of the Year competition organized by Laatukeskus Excellence Finland. The winners were announced in connection with the Maailman laatupäivä (World Quality Day) seminar at the Finlandia Hall on November 12, 2015.

Innofactor Plc (Nasdaq OMX IFA1V) won in the Education category of the Quality Innovation of the Year competition that has been organized by Laatukeskus Excellence Finland since 2007. Innofactor Skilli is a learning analysis tool whose product development relies heavily on the latest pedagogical research data on how to best arrange learning and teaching and what kind of applications best support the renewal of schools as regards the development of future skills.

“Innofactor Skilli is a new pedagogical approach to measuring and managing learning. It answers one of the central challenges in modern education: utilizing digitalization in learning,” says the jury of the Quality Innovation of the Year competition.

“Innofactor Skilli enables self-assessment during the learning process, direct feedback from the teacher, and monitoring and analyzing of the learning results,” says Sami Ensio, CEO of Innofactor. “Giving and receiving versatile positive and realistic feedback is a central part of learning,” Sami Ensio continues.

Innofactor Skilli learning analysis tool is used in approximately 35 schools, which have a total of 8,000 students. In June 2015, Innofactor Skilli was selected as a finalist in the Microsoft’s international category Education Partner of the Year. Innofactor’s goal is to make Skilli an internationally successful product and to utilize Finland’s reputation as a world’s top country in teaching.
