Innofactor Plc Press Release August 9, 2022, at 9:00 Finnish time
Microsoft has awarded Innofactor Identity and Access Management Advanced Specialization status. The recognition is awarded to partners who demonstrate deep knowledge and extensive experience in deploying identity and access management in Microsoft Azure. The recognition is an indication of the professional expertise of Innofactor's cybersecurity specialists and the company's capability to help its customers strengthen their information security.
Cybersecurity has become increasingly important to organizations, and identity and access management is a central aspect of cybersecurity today. Up to 80% of data breaches are related to identity and access rights. Identity and access management solutions are designed to protect employees' identities through data protection, thereby preventing data breaches. Flexible identity and access management facilitates work and enables efficient management of users and resources such as systems, computers and mobile devices. Identity and access management can also be used to ensure that the organization complies with legal data protection regulations and provisions.
“The recognition indicates Innofactor's position as a reliable partner with an excellent ability to strengthen our customers' identity and access management. Successful identity and access management solutions enable organizations to improve their data security, ease their employees’ daily work, and significantly save time and money. We are honoured and excited to have received this recognition,” says Jarno Limnéll, VP, Cybersecurity Solutions at Innofactor.
Over the past few years, Innofactor's cybersecurity experts have successfully collaborated on identity management solutions with, for example, the municipality of Bjørnafjorden in Norway and construction company Betonmast. In Finland, Innofactor's cybersecurity unit started operations last year. Innofactor co-operates closely with Microsoft and provides its customers with a wide range of cybersecurity and data security services.
"Proper identity and access management is the foundation of today's information security and good usability. As clouding grows, organizations are forced to reassess how identity and access management is implemented and managed. This is especially important in the transition towards a Zero Trust architecture, with identity and access management at its core. We are delighted that Innofactor is fully committed to fulfilling the highest standard of security requirements for their customers," says Juha Tschokkinen, Enterprise Security Executive at Microsoft.
