Innofactor maintains HUS' Azure environment. Our service contains cloud architecture management, information security, new servers' quick deployment and control over their capacity. It entails an idea of adjusting the servers' size and turning them off for example at night to gain cost savings. The client only pays for service when the servers are in use.
Innofactor has assisted HUS in moving their services to cloud. One example is the deployment of Terveyskylä.fi (Health Village) services into Azure and SharePoint Online. The idea behind Health Village is that citizens and different patient groups get access to reliable information about health, ways to treat diseases and how to get treatment.
Another service example is a pilot concerning the telemonitoring of children's pulse deviation. The project started with monitoring the cardiogram in periods of 24 hours, after which the medical staff would look at the recording and try to detect a possible deviation. In addition to a burdensome manual phase, it was unlikely that the rarely occurring symptoms would register during such a short observation period.
Innofactor's pilot solution used a light and accurate monitoring equipment supplemented with a mobile app, that offered the patients a way to quickly save their symptom's timing and content. With the help of Azure services, the electrocardiograph's data and symptoms are visible to a medical professional in real-time. Deployment of the solution would decrease the workload of caregivers and enable hospitals to repatriate children faster. In addition, it would facilitate the discovery of significant symptoms and help connect them with measured data. Doctors could then analyze only the necessary deviations, which would enhance the probability to find the cause of the cardiac symptom.
