A forecasting and integrated planning solution implemented for a workforce leasing company saves time and improves the reliability of data
Seure provides workforce leasing services for municipalities and joint municipal authorities in the Helsinki region. The company provides workers for various needs, ranging from one-day substitutions to months-long assignments. It also helps its customers with other personnel-related activities, including recruitment and the optimization of human resources.
Seure mostly provides personnel for organizations in the social welfare and health care sector, early childhood education, education, and the service sector. The most common job titles include practical nurse, nurse, early childhood education professional, school assistant, cook, food service professional, and institutional cleaner. The company's net sales in 2021 amounted to nearly EUR 130 million.
Invenco (now part of Innofactor) provided Seure with a forecasting and integrated planning solution implemented with Jedox software. Seure uses the solution for business control purposes. The new solution supports changes in Seure's processes, whereby the company has switched from annual budgeting and planning to monthly planning and forecasting.
Jedox creates profit forecasts on an integrated basis through sales planning, HR planning, other fixed costs and production planning. This makes the profit budget simply one version of the profit forecast, and one that can be generated quickly.
"We no longer need to spend time on moving data from one place to another. The reliability of the data has also been significantly improved," says Teemu Kaipiainen, Chief Finance & Analytics Officer at Seure Henkilöstöpalvelut.
In its planning activities, Seure uses activity-based costing, which involves allocating costs based on various cost drivers. The activity-based costing solution was implemented in Jedox.
The solution was implemented according to the customer's needs, and Invenco was responsible for the full implementation of the solution. The customer creates reports and data entry templates in Jedox as needed.
"Our co-operation with Invenco [Innofactor] is very effective. We chose Jedox because we needed a solution that enables rapid development and supports our vision for the future of business control," Kaipiainen says.
On June 30, 2022, Innofactor acquired the entire share capital of Invenco Oy, a privately owned company specializing in data solutions. As of July 1, 2022, Invenco Oy's name was changed to Innofactor Invenco Oy. Invenco's employees continue their work with the new company. The roles and duties of Invenco's experts remained unchanged.
