Kuntien Tiera Oy has selected Innofactor in a public procurement competition as the primary provider of Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamics 365 services. The aim of the procurement is to provide municipal operators with the best possible expert resources in the deployment and maintenance of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Microsoft SharePoint solutions. Tiera's owners can purchase the services in those sub-sectors directly from Innofactor in accordance with the quoted prices without a separate tender process. Alternatively, Tiera's owners can organize a mini-competition by electing in addition to Innofactor one to two best performed tenderers in the sector to compete in the procurement.
The procurement includes the complete value-added services provided by the providers and those they have developed together with Tiera, which will offer added value to the client's customers in addition to standard Microsoft products. The duration of the framework agreement is four years. The customer has estimated the total value of the contract (excluding VAT) for the services purchased to be EUR 2 million.

Kuntien Tiera Oy is a service company fully owned by the municipal sector. Tiera's owners comprise more than 200 municipalities and approximately 50 joint municipal authorities and municipally owned limited liability companies, and the Association of Finnish Local and Regional Authorities. Tiera develops ICT services for the municipal sector through networked cooperation with municipalities and other public and commercial operators. Tiera implements services for municipal operators with the help of service providers qualified through tendering, using the purchasing power of its owner-customers.
The decision will be legally valid after the appeal period defined in the Procurement Act has passed.
